KEYBOARDING 7
Students will be given a course outline to take home for their parents/guardians to preview. Both the student and parent/guardian should read the outline together, then sign the last page and return the bottom section to Mr. Chat by the end of the week.
Students will be instructed in the following:
1) how to log on to the computer in Room 585
2) how to log on to the computer program, Typing Time, which will be used in this class
3) the Home Row Keys (A, S, D, F, J, K, L, ;), the ENTER KEY and SPACE BAR
4) the word processing feature of Typing Time to be used for textbook lessons.
Drills will be completed to learn the home row keys:
1) Typing Time-Letter Keys, Lessons 1, 2
2) Textbook-Word Processor, Lesson 1
Handouts are available to practice at home.
